India: Records more than 4 lakh infected case in 24 hours

The corona epidemic has wreaked havoc across the country and for the first time today, 4,187 deaths have been recorded in 24 hours amid the ever increasing threats. India is the third country after the US and Brazil to have more than 4000 deaths a day due to corona. New cases of infection are also increasing rapidly in the country. Maharashtra recorded the highest number of 54,022 new cases and 898 deaths on Friday, while Karnataka recorded 48,781 cases and 592 deaths.

 

 

At the same time, 4,01,078 new cases of corona virus infection have been reported in the country. According to the Union Health Ministry, 4,187 people have died in the last 24 hours. After the new cases came, the total number of positive cases went up to 2,18,92,676. The total number of deaths in the country has gone up to 2,38,270. The Health Ministry said that the number of active cases in 12 states of the country is more than one lakh while in seven states it is between 50,000 and 1 lakh.

According to the Ministry, the transition rate in 24 States of the country is currently more than 15 per cent and in 9 states it is between 5-15 per cent. Meanwhile, oxygen concentraters, ventilators and other goods are continuing to arrive as medical assistance from other countries. More than 16.73 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far. A total of 30,04,10,043 samples have been tested so far in India to check corona virus infection. According to ICMR, 18,08,344 samples were tested across the country on Friday.
