It appeared to be a strong night for musical artists as Adele, Lizzo, and The Beatles were among the top winners of the evening as the Creative Arts Emmys 2022 winners were revealed. The Beatles' Get Back and Adele's One Night Only special each received 5 Emmys, including major prizes like Outstanding documentary or nonfiction series.
Adele won for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction for Outstanding Variety Special, Outstanding Sound Mixing for Outstanding Variety Special, and Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, and Video Control for Outstanding Variety Special.
Marvel's What If...? received a heartfelt victory when the late actor Chadwick Boseman received the Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance award for his final appearance in the animated series as Star-Lord T'Challa. Numerous celebrities, such as Nicole Byer, Judd Apatow, Monica Aldama, Morgan Simianer, and others presented during the Creative Emmys ceremony.
