New Delhi: Ahead of the highly anticipated face-off, cricketers Ravichandran Ashwin and Dinesh Karthik have shared delightful news with fans. Both of them posted pictures of Colombo city on social media, revealing pleasant weather conditions, hinting at a full-fledged India vs. Pakistan match at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Ravichandran Ashwin also shared a weather update on social media, mentioning that many India vs. Pakistan match tickets are still available online.

"That’s as pretty a morning as one can get for an #INDvsPAK clash. Lots of tickets still available online for the game," Ashwin posted on the microblogging site X (formerly Twitter). Veteran wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik, known as the 'Weatherman' on social media, also posted a picture on the microblogging site, expressing his anticipation for a thrilling contest between the arch-rivals.

"The weather looks decent for #INDvPAK. Looking forward to a cracker of a game," Karthik posted. The unpredictable Colombo weather led the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) to schedule a reserve day for the IND vs. PAK match, ensuring uninterrupted action between the two teams. "A reserve day has been incorporated for the Super11 Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 match between India vs. Pakistan scheduled to take place on 10th September 2023 at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo," the ACC stated in an official announcement.

"In case adverse weather conditions suspend play during the India vs. Pakistan game, the match will resume on 11th September 2023 from the point it was suspended. In such a scenario, ticket-holders are advised to retain their match tickets, which will remain valid and will be used for the reserve day," the statement added.
