New Delhi: According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Outer Parvinder Singh, three persons were arrested for allegedly killing an 18-year-old boy after he refused to lend them his jacket so they could impress girls. According to a police statement, the victim has been identified as Santosh, while the suspects have been identified as Prince (19), Harshu (19), and Javed (19).
As per statement, the teen's mother, a resident of Delhi's Mangolpuri, said that her son was allegedly taken by a group of four boys namely Prince, Harshu, Paras, and Javed (all of whom live in the same neighborhood) - because they were absconding on December 28, 2022.
During the interrogation, the accused revealed that on the afternoon of December 25, 2021, Prince had asked Santosh to give him the jacket for a short period of time in order to attract girls, but the victim refused and mocked him for his poverty. Santosh was allegedly stabbed and his body thrown into a drain. The body has been found, according to the police.
