JAIPUR:  Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, has ordered the police to take stern action against those who harbor criminal intent, stating that his administration places the most emphasis on the prevention of crimes against women and those who belong to vulnerable social groups.

Lamenting the grievous incident that unfolded in Bhilwara, an unfathomable tale of a minor's violation and demise, Gehlot's voice resonates with somberness. Swift, decisive actions have been the police's retort, striving for swift justice to be meted out to the accused. Disheartened by the hue of politicization some attempt to cast upon this tragedy, Gehlot raises a dissenting voice, branding it as "inappropriate."

The narrative paints a sorrowful tableau: a 14-year-old's innocence ravaged, life snuffed out, and body consigned to the flames of a coal furnace. It was August 2, and Bhilwara became synonymous with tragedy as the girl embarked on her cattle-grazing expedition.

The wheels of justice turn, and thus far, seven individuals (Among them, a woman)stand apprehended in connection to the case. In the meshes of this web, a wedded minor and an adolescent find themselves ensnared, as confirmed by the authorities.

In his bid to sculpt a just society, Gehlot's mandate echoes, keep a register of habitual offenders. This repository will become the fulcrum upon which actions, even the deprivation of governmental employments, shall pivot.

Within the sanctum of his official residence, Gehlot's discourse unfolds, a symposium that dissects the fabric of law and order, as the sun sets on a Monday evening.

From the annals of an official statement, the chief minister's directive emerges in bold. The police force stands tasked to plunge into a special crusade against those with a proclivity towards crime.

The glare of Gehlot's instruction shines unrelenting, piercing the veil of establishments that defy time's constraints. Bars and nightclubs that dare to keep their doors ajar past appointed hours shall face the crucible of strict measures. Not only shall proprietors and managers bear the brunt, but licenses themselves shall feel the weight of cancellation for their trespass against the norms.

the meeting was attended by senior authorities as well as Minister of State for Home Rajendra Yadav, Chief Secretary Usha Sharma, Principal Government Secretary (Home), Anand Kumar, and Director General of Police Umesh Mishra.
