Heavy rainfall in Telangana destroys crops in many districts. The singur project has been flooded in hundreds of acres along the river course in the Manjira River, Narayankhed and Jahirabad assembly constituencies that have hit the entire reservoir level with heavy currents and water level from upper areas.

While 58,000 CUSECS of water is received from Singur Upstream, irrigation officials are releasing 68,000 CUSECS down the river route. Villagers living near the Singur project said that insects and snakes were entering their homes due to heavy flooding.

In another case, the temples are submerged because of the overflow of water from the Godavari river. Many such losses have been reported from different parts of the state. Many crops are damaged and many areas are flooded.
