Srinagar. According to the information received recently, on Thursday, a CRPF soldier committed suicide by shooting himself with his own service rifle while on duty in south Kashmir's Avantipora.
In the information that has been revealed, Constable Moti Ram, who was posted in a road opening party of 178 battalion of CRPF in Avantipora, shot himself with his service rifle. When other soldiers reached the spot after hearing the sound of the bullet, they saw him fall on the ground soaked in blood. The soldiers immediately brought Moti Ram to the hospital where the doctors declared him dead. In this case, the police and CRPF have started a separate investigation in this case. The CRPF spokesman said that the reasons for Moti Ram's suicide are being ascertained.
He has also said that this incident happened when Moti Ram was about to go on a regular patrol with his other companions. This is not the first such case, but even before this, such cases have come up which have shocked everyone.
