A health centre exists in the city of Naftalan in Azerbaijan, a country close to Iran, where people bathe in a bathtub full of crude oil. The Centre's experts claim that crude oil does not eliminate more than 70 diseases, including neurological and skin problem. There are people from other countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany, to take up this particular therapy.

What is interesting is that Azerbaijan is considered one of the major oil-exporting countries in the world, and here people also reach out to arthritis and intravenous diseases, in addition to skin diseases. While crude oil is used in different ways, the most popular way is the bath and a patient bath 130 litres of oil at a temperature of about 40 degrees.

In the meantime, many people gave feedback on treatment, saying that hot oil has made them feel comfortable in bone bonding and that people have expressed their desire to sit in oil more than the stipulated time. Although the different chemical present in it may cause a prolonged bath to adversely affect the body, even death. A fixed timeframe has therefore been set for it.
