On Tuesday, CSK skipper MS Dhoni was in a euphoric mood after his CSK pulled off another epic run chase in the 11th edition of IPL. After all-rounder DJ Bravo’s swashbuckling hitting against Mumbai Indians, it was Sam Billings’ turn to get top billing. Despite being given a huge target of 203, Billings’ heroics meant CSK got over the line with a ball to spare.

10 The difference between sixes and fours in Andre Russell’s innings (11 sixes and one four) – the highest ever in the IPL.

31 Number of sixes hit in the match – equal the existing IPL record. The Gujarat Lions – Delhi Daredevils match at Delhi in 2017 had also seen 31 sixes being hit.

88 Andre Russell’s score - the lowest ever score in T20 cricket to include 11 sixes. The previous lowest was 91* by Ross Whiteley for Worcestershire against Yorkshire at Leeds in 2015.

88 Runs scored by Andre Russell without being dismissed– the highest individual innings at number 7 in the IPL history. The previous record had come in the opening match of IPL 2018 when Dwayne Bravo made 68 against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede.

203 Target chased down by Chennai Super Kings – highest for any side against Kolkata Knight Riders. Kings XI Punjab had chased down a target of 201 runs at Eden Gardens in 2010.

107 Number of sixes hit off Dwayne Bravo’s bowling – most for any pacer in the IPL. He went past Praveen Kumar’s tally of 104 sixes.

16.95 R Vinay Kumar’s economy in the tournament – 65 runs in 3.5 overs.
