Chandigarh:  In Haryana's Kurukshetra, dacoits broke into a police outpost and stabbed a youth, leaving him badly injured, and is now fighting for his life in a hospital. At Subhash Mandi police outpost in Kurukshetra, the complainant Pradeep was stabbed by two assailants in front of the policemen.

Pradeep, a youth suffering from bloodied blood, has been admitted to Kalpana Chawla Medical College in a critical condition. In fact, in a case of assault, Pradeep had gone to the Subhash Mandi police outpost to lodge a complaint. Vimla, the victim's mother, said that as soon as her son reached the police station, two youths named Vikas and Shashi also came and attacked him with a knife. By the time someone reached there to the rescue, the accused had attacked him several times with a knife.

The young man has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition. Dr Vikrant of LNJP Hospital said that the victim has been referred to Kalpana Chawla Medical College, Karnal as her condition is critical. At the same time, DSP Headquarters Subhash Chandra said that Shashi and Vikas attacked Pradeep with a knife in the police outpost. The two accused have also been arrested and the weapon used in the incident has also been recovered.
