On Saturday, the Sports Authority of India (SAI) has confirmed the news that the cyclist camp will be started soon. The Sports Authority of India has said in its official statement that the corona test results of all cyclists and support staff who arrived here before the national camp, starting on August 14, turned out to be negative.
For the camp to be held at Indira Gandhi National Stadium, a team of 11 cyclists, 4 coaches and advice support staff have already reached here and are going through the mandatory quarantine phase. Sports Authority of India said that as an active, mandatory step, we have conducted corona test to all the participants including athletes, coaches, associate members who have reached here.
In this regard, SAI has said that corona report of all the people has confirmed that no one is infected with corona. As another precautionary step, players and coaches will be examined before the practice starts on 14 August, in which they will have to come negative. If any cyclist or employee comes out positive in that test, then he / she will be kept out of the camp. The Sports Authority has also stated that the quarantine area where the athletes, coaches and support staff are staying has been selected as a green zone and no outsiders are allowed to visit the area or discuss with the team.
