The impact of cyclone jawad (Cyclone Jawad) is going to be visible today. Yes, today, amid the possibility of it reaching north Andhra Pradesh, the State Government has evacuated more than 54,008 people from three districts. In Odisha, all government, aided and private schools affiliated to the Department of School and Public Education will remain closed today in 19 districts in view of cyclone. In view of the threat posed by the cyclone, 64 Teams of National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) have been deployed in eastern States including Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and Odisha.

As per the information received, rescue team has evacuated 15,755 people from Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh, 1,700 from Vizianagaram and 36,553 from Visakhapatnam. In addition, the Government has set up 197 relief camps in schools and community halls. On the other hand, 11 teams of National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) have been deployed while 5 teams of State Disaster Relief Force (SDRF) and 6 teams of Coast Guard have been deployed.

In addition, the continuous wind speed will be at a speed of 80 to 90 kmph while it is likely to go up to a maximum of 100 kmph.
