In view of Cyclone Yaas, the Western Railway has decided to cancel 7 trains on the Odisha, Gujarat and Rajasthan routes keeping in view the safety of passengers and train operations.
Trains cancelled are Shalimar-Thiruvananthapuram Central Special (02642) scheduled to leave Shalimar on May 25, Thiruvananthapuram Central-Silchar Weekly Aronai Special (02507) scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central on May 25 have been cancelled, according to Railways.
Ernakulam Junction-Howrah Junction Weekly Special (02878) scheduled to leave Ernakulam Junction on May 24, Thiruvananthapuram Central-Shalimar Biweekly Special (02641) scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central on May 27 and Kanyakumari- Howrah Junction Weekly Special (02666) scheduled to leave Kanyakumari on May 29 have also been cancelled.
Nagercoil Junction-Shalimar Weekly Gurudev Special (02659), scheduled to leave Nagercoil Junction on May 23, Howrah Junction-Kanyakumari Weekly Special (02665), scheduled to leave Howrah Junction on May 24, Shalimar-Nagarcoil Junction Weekly Gurudev Special (02660) scheduled to leave Shalimar on May 26, Ernakulam Junction-Patna Junction Biweekly Special (02643) scheduled to leave Ernakulam Junction on May 24 and 25 and Patna Junction-Ernakulam Junction Biweekly Special (02644) scheduled to leave Patna Junction on May 27 and 28 have also been cancelled.
