New Delhi: The havoc of the second wave of covid infection is now coming to an end. The continuous decline in the number of new cases is giving the country some comfort. However the figure of 4,000 cross deaths each day was adding to the fear among people. The number of covid patients has come down to close to 2.5 lakh, which has brought relief, but on the other hand, a large number of epidemic patients have lost their lives.
The second wave of covid infection is yet to end when the third wave of covid is now seen knocking in the country. In Rajasthan Uttarakhand, children have been found infected with covid. India is now short of vaccine weapons in the war against the Corona virus. Most places in the country do not have vaccine stocks left, which has also announced the closure of vaccination centres. On the other hand, politics is also at its peak in this crisis.
Covid cases fall below 2.5 lakh, 3741 deaths in 24 hours: New cases of covid virus in India have come down to below 2.5 lakh. In the last 24 hours, 2,40,842 new corona patients have been found in India. After which the total number of positive cases has gone up to 2,65,30,132. The total number of deaths has gone up to 2,99,266 in the last 24 hours after 3,741 new deaths. The total number of discharges after 3,55,102 new discharges during this period has been 2,34,25,467. The total number of active cases in the country is 28,05,399.
