Bhubaneswar: Cyclonic 'Yaas' has hit odisha coast. The storm hit south of Balasore, with wind speed of 130-140 kmph. The storm arrived a few hours late as scheduled, as its speed had slowed down from 15-16 kmph to 12 kmph.

On the other hand, sea water has entered the residential areas of Odisha due to the impact of the storm. So there is also a water logging in Haldia port of West Bengal. The landfall of cyclone Yass continues. However, the cyclone is now moving northwestwards. Tell us that several districts of West Bengal and Odisha are receiving heavy rain after cyclone 'Yas' hit odisha coast. Winds are blowing at a speed of 130-140 kmph. Waves 6 meters high from the sea are rising.
