Amravati: The cyclonic storm formed over the Bay of Bengal is going to cross the Bangladesh coast early Wednesday. Amravati Meteorological Center Director Stella Samuel said on Tuesday that at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, the cyclonic storm was about 130 km south of Khepupara (Bangladesh) and 190 km south-west of Chittagong (Bangladesh). To warn fishermen about this, storm warning cage number has been installed at Pamban port in Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu. Fishermen in Odisha have also been warned not to venture into the sea till Wednesday.

Possibility of crossing Yemen near Al-Gaida: The Meteorological Department has informed that the cyclonic storm is also expected to cross the Bangladesh coast between Khepupara and Chittagong around the evening of October 25. Whereas the extremely severe cyclonic storm over the west-central Arabian Sea has weakened into a severe cyclonic storm. It is very likely to cross the Yemen coast near Al-Gaida on the morning of October 24.
