The IMD said that from June 5 to 7, there will be rain with strong thunderstorms due to Cyclone Baiperjoy. The wind speed can be up to 50 km per hour. Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli districts of Gujarat are likely to receive rainfall with strong winds. Along with this, rain warning has also been issued in other areas including Patan, Modasa, Mehsana. SDRF teams have also been alerted due to heavy rain alert. The state administration has instructed fishermen not to go to sea. Officials at the local level have also been asked to remain alert.
Several districts of Gujarat will continue to receive rainfall for a few days after cyclone Baiparjoy makes landfall. People will get rid of the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, the rain will continue between June 7 and 11. Along with this, it is expected that this year the monsoon will come on time.
