Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that the total run time of Dabangg 3 has been reduced by a few minutes. Now 159 minutes i.e. two and a half hours and 9 minutes, the film has been reduced to 9 minutes 40 seconds. Dabangg 3, directed by Prabhudeva, lasted its full run time on the first day, but on the second day, the film's run time has been reduced suddenly. The sequence that was removed in the film was not finally revealed by the filmmakers or by anyone else.

Apart from this, which sequence or which scene of the film has been removed, it has not been known. Earlier, there was a lot of controversy about the song Hud Hood Dabangg in the film. In the background of this song, sadhus were shown dancing, on which Hinduist organizations objected. The filmmakers later removed some of the song's scenes. Now the edited version of this song can be seen in the film.
