Filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s upcoming movie RRR is in news since its announcement. Bahubali director has collaborated with Ram Charan and Jr NTR among many other artists for this film. Two Bollywood actors - Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, are also a part of RRR and they have important roles in the film. The makers had announced that Daisy Edgar Jones plays the main lead in RRR as well. Merely after a month of that announcement but now as per the latest report she is no longer in the film.

The makers have now revealed that Daisy is no longer a part of the film. The tweet from the official Twitter handle of RRR, reads, "Due to unavoidable circumstances, @DaisyEdgarJones is no longer a part of our film. We hope she has a brilliant future. #RRR." Daisy, who was last seen in Pond Life, was supposed to make her debut in Indian cinema with RRR.

Daisy has been part of shows like Outnumbered and Silent Witness. The actress is best known for her portrayal of Olivia on a British comedy-drama series Cold Feet.

As per reports, RRR will be set in the early 1900s and will have the actors playing roles inspired by characters of rebellious personalities Alluri Sitaramaraju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan will be seen playing Ramaraju while NTR will essay Bheem in the plot. Alia Bhatt will be seen as the female lead opposite Ram Charan. The makers had signed Daisy to romance Jr NTR. But, now that she is not a part of the film, now it is yet to know who will replace her. The film is slated for release on July 30, 2020.
