Kothagudem: Dalit Bandhu scheme will be implemented for all Dalits in Telangana in the next 15 months. State Scheduled Caste Corporation President Banda Srinivas visited Kothagudem district on Friday. During this, while addressing the media here, he told that in the first phase the poor will be helped and in the second phase government employees will get benefits.

10 lakh each were given to several Dalit families in Huzurabad assembly constituency. The chairman of SC Corporation denied the allegations that Rs 10 lakh deposited in the accounts of the beneficiaries was withdrawn. He said that some parties are making false allegations against the scheme which aims to uplift the poor Dalits in Telangana. There are about 75 lakh Dalits from the 59 sub-castes of the Scheduled Castes.

Srinivas said that as part of the distribution of three acres of land to the landless poor Dalits, the state government has so far distributed about 16,800 acres and allocated Rs 7 lakh per acre for land acquisition for distribution, because There was no government land available for distribution, Srinivas said. Executive Director of SC Corporation G Mutyam, District Library Director, More Bhaskar Rao and Singareni SC/ST Employees Union leader Nageswara Rao were present.
