Good News! All shrines to open in Maharashtra from October 7

Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has announced last Friday that all religious places are now going to open in the state. Under the information received, all religious places will open from October 7 in compliance with the Covid-19 protocol. The major move is said to have been taken amid signs of an end to the second wave of epidemics. Last Friday, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced that "don't neglect security and adopt covid-19 behave appropriately in view of the possible third wave of epidemics.''

Just yesterday, he said, "All religious places in the state will open from October 7. The Maharashtra government has prepared for the third wave but taking precautions, the State Government is relaxing various activities.'' He also said, "Infection cases in the state are decreasing but there is a risk of coronavirus. While the daily cases of Covid-19 are declining, everyone should be careful and follow the Covid-19 Protocol.''

He further said, "Religious places are going to open, people should wear masks and use hand sanitisers. Management of shrines will be responsible for ensuring such measures.'' With this, Maharashtra has now announced to reopen schools from Class 5 to 12 in rural areas and 8 to 12 in urban areas from October 4.
