New Delhi: Former MP and mafia boss Atiq Ahmed has been sentenced to life imprisonment in the Umesh Pal kidnapping case. After this punishment given to Atiq Ahmed, the mother and wife of the late Umesh Pal have kept their point in front of the media. Tell them that Umesh Pal, the main witness in BSP MLA Raju Pal's murder case, was murdered on February 24 in Prayagraj itself. The charge for this murder is also on Mafia Atiq Ahmed. In this case, till now, two miscreants have been killed in police encounters. Meanwhile, Umesh Pal's mother, talking to the media after the court's verdict, said that Atiq should be hanged.

Umesh Pal's mother, Shanti Devi, who comes from the Dalit community, said, 'My son was kidnapped 18 years ago. He was a warrior. I have full faith in the court. Ateeq Ahmed has been sentenced to life imprisonment for kidnapping my son, but he should be hanged for murder. I have full faith in UP CM Yogi Adityanath. He said that at the moment, we are satisfied with this decision. Umesh Pal's wife also spoke to the media. He said that we want Atiq Ahmed to be given the death sentence for the murder of my husband. We want justice, and we demand help from CM Yogi Adityanath.

He said that if Atiq Ahmed and his brothers remain alive, then they will continue to be a problem for us. At the same time, the lawyers have also expressed happiness over the punishment of Atiq Ahmed. The lawyers standing outside Prayagraj's MP-MLA court expressed happiness over Atiq's sentence but also said that it would have been better if he had been given the death sentence. Many MLAs were even standing on the spot carrying shoes and saying that we want to garland Atiq with shoes. In this case, Umesh Pal's family and many lawyers have also expressed disappointment over the acquittal of Atiq Ahmed's brother.
