The BJP corporator said that the marriage will happen in the same form, no matter what has to be done for it. At the same time, the police have also made it clear that the defendant has said that the marriage will take place in his mandap only. Along with this, a case has been registered against the accused.
In some media reports, the name of the owner of the farm has been mentioned as Mohammad Yasin and the manager's name as Rais Abbasi. The police have registered a case against Rais Abbasi under sections 504 and 506 of the IPC, as well as under section 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act (SC/ST Act).
