She said in an interview to a website, 'I was molested when I was 3 years old. It is like a stigma for women that they never talk about it.' She further said, 'But now I hope that the times have changed. Now awareness has increased among people all over the country and around the world about sexual harassment. Earlier it was said not to talk about all these. People will get it wrong. '

Further speaking about the casting couch, she said, 'I have also faced the casting couch. There has also come a time in life when it was said that you will get the work if you have sex. Due to this many times, it has happened that many opportunities to work in films have been left out of my hands. Many times it has happened that I am a part of a film and I was fired because someone was put in my place because of the conference and I was fired. Fatima is in the industry since childhood. She played child artistes in many films which were outstanding.
