Kwid and Redi-Go the small passenger hatchback cars from Renault and its group company, Datsun are going to be recalled by the manufacturer for corrections and improvisations in the fuel supply system of these cars which was reported to be faulty.

"In line with our high standards of product quality, Renault India is conducting a pre-emptive and voluntary inspection of select 800cc variants of Kwid that were produced up to May 18 this year," Renault said on the mass car recall. “As a proactive measure, a fuel hose clip will be added to these select cars along with the evaluation of overall functionality of the fuel system to mitigate any potential disruption of fuel supply," Renault added.

Around 50,000 Kwids and 923 Redi-Go cars are going to be recalled for inspection and changes. This is a free of cost service where customers would be requested to go to their respective dealer and get their car inspected.
