Virudhunagar: Tragedy struck a stone quarry in Tamil Nadu as three workers lost their lives in a powerful explosion on Wednesday. The force of the blast was so intense that it shattered their bodies into pieces, leaving debris strewn across the area, according to police reports.

The incident, which sent shockwaves through the nearby community, occurred during the unloading of explosives from a vehicle within the quarry premises. K Feroze Khan Abdullah, Superintendent of Police in Virudhunagar, confirmed that the explosion was likely the result of mishandling of explosives during routine operations. "Some body parts have been scattered and buried under the debris," he explained, shedding light on the grim aftermath of the blast.
