Rashmika Mandanna's line-up of films has been keeping everybody on their toes. The 23-year-old actor is now busy shooting for Vijay Deverakonda-starrer Dear Comrade, which marks the directorial debut of Bharat Kamma. According to the latest reports, the Kodava beauty might soon be roped in to play the female lead opposite Akhil Akkineni in his film with Bommarillu Bhaskar. Akhil has not been able to deliver a single hit so far. He was last seen in Mr Majnu which crashed at the box office despite receiving decent reviews. As such, collaborating with him might be a risk for her.
According to the source, Rashmika will be teaming up with Geetha Govindam producer Bunny Vaas for yet another rom-com starring Akhil Akkineni. "It's a strong female character that's more like a second skin to her portrayal in Geetha Govindam. Rashmika was pleased with the way Bhaskar has conceived the character with a great sense of fun and depth and has agreed to be on board," reveals the source.
Meanwhile, Rashmika is currently awaiting the release of Dear Comrade which marks her second collaboration with Vijay Deverakonda. The film has already created a great deal of buzz amongst fans and this might help it emerge as a winner. Rashmika is also onboard Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu's upcoming films.
