Patna: A shocking case has been heard in Muzaffarnagar, Bihar, where the Panchayat Secretary has issued a death certificate of a person twice in 11 years. After exposing the case, trainee IAS and BDO of Madhavan Khushbu Gupta have demanded action against the secretary from the District Panchayati Raj officer.
It was informed that the District Panchayat Secretary is issuing death certificates without investigation. Makhdumpur Kodariya Panchayat resident of Madvan. A death certificate was issued in the year 2009 in the name of Ainul Haq. After the action of this case, it was found that a person named Shahnawaz Alam had again issued a death certificate in the name of Sameena Khatoon by giving an incorrect affidavit.
In this case, trainee IAS and Madvan's BDO have appealed for action against the panchayat. The trainee IAS informed that the Panchayat Secretary has again issued the death certificate without investigation. Apart from this, information related to death certificates is also not going to be made available in the Panchayat Register. The trainee IAS informed that it is clear from this that the Panchayat Secretary has deliberately issued the death certificate again, hence the investigation is going to take place against him.
