Moradabad: The Moradabad police have arrested Amir Ali, who had applied for marriage to a Hindu girl after converting to Hinduism. In fact, Aamir Ali was already married and his wife Gulfsha had filed a complaint against him on Wednesday (July 12) accusing him of dowry, assault and cheating. In this complaint, a total of 7 people, including Aamir's father-mother, have been accused. Aamir's wife has alleged that her husband has been in a relationship with a Hindu girl since 2014 and the two together want to get her out of the way. Aamir has been arrested on Friday morning.  

According to Moradabad police, Amir Ali was accused by his wife of cheating and marrying, demanding dowry and abusing and torturing him. While investigating the same case, the police team found the location of Amir Ali, who was on the run, near Prince Public School in Mughalpura, Moradabad. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot and arrested Amir Ali. Further investigation in the case is underway. Aamir Khan's wife Gulfsha said that they got married on February 20, 2022. It is alleged that even before marriage, Aamir was living in a live-in relationship with a Hindu girl, which was hidden from the girl's family. Describing the act as a conspiracy, Gulfsha has accused Aamir's father Arif, Ammi Hamida, sisters Lubna and Uzma as well as his brother-in-law Imran and Asif All these 7 accused are accused of beating the victim for dowry, threatening and abusing her.

Gulfash says that she gave birth to a baby girl even after the accused forcibly aborted her several times. Three months after the birth of the child, her husband Aamir Ali insisted on a second marriage. Gulfshan protested against her husband's insistence and also checked his mobile. It is alleged that Aamir and his live-in partner were planning to kill Gulfsha. In the complaint, Aamir has been mentioned as having a relationship with his live-in partner since 2014. On the complaint of Aamir's wife, the police have registered 7 cases under sections 498-A, 420, 323, 504 of IPC as well as dowry act 3/4.  

On July 3, 2023, Aamir Ali wrote a letter to the Dm of Moradabad seeking permission to become a Hindu. He had then stated his faith in Hindus in the letter and called it a decision taken without any pressure. In his letter, Aamir had expressed his desire to change his new name to Amit Maheshwari. After this letter came out, Aamir's wife Gulfsha had made serious allegations against her husband. He had then termed it as Aamir's conspiracy to marry a Hindu girl.
