New Delhi: Due to the increasing violence in Delhi, there is chaos in the whole country today. At the same time, after much deliberation at the top level in the government, it was decided to field National Security Advisor Ajit Doval to control the situation in Delhi. It is being said that after a long discussion on the situation of the violence in Delhi, Home Minister Amit Shah himself asked Ajit Doval to control the situation by visiting the violence-ridden areas at midnight. Earlier, Doval had discussed the issue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On Wednesday, Doval informed the Cabinet Committee on Security about the latest situation.

Delhi Police failed miserably to stop the violence: According to highly placed sources of the Home Ministry, the ongoing violence in many areas of North-East Delhi on Tuesday became a cause of concern for the government. Despite providing 13 additional companies of central paramilitary forces on Sunday itself, the Delhi Police had failed miserably to stop the violence.

Lack of mutual coordination in Delhi Police: It is being said that even after the meeting with all the political parties of Delhi by Amit Shah, the situation was not taking name. The feedback at the ground level showed that lack of morale among the policemen at the lower level along with mutual coordination with the Delhi Police is the main reason for this.

PM and Shah's long meeting with Doval after Trump returned: According to the information, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a long discussion with Ajit Doval on the situation in Delhi as soon as US President Donald Trump returned after dinner. After meeting the PM, Doval went to the Home Minister's house, where the two had a conversation for about an hour. During this, senior officers were also present to the Delhi Police and Intelligence Bureau. Amit Shah himself suggested that Ajit Doval himself should visit the areas to boost police morale, increase local police coordination with central paramilitary forces, and assure people of security in the violence-ridden areas.
