Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu was today granted bail by the Tis Hazari court in Delhi. An FIR was registered by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). According to that FIR, Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu had damaged parts of the Red Fort. He was then arrested for the same case. In fact, on Republic Day this year, there was violence at a tractor rally of farmers. There was also a red fort case in which accused Deep Sidhu has now been granted bail by the court.
The court also said, "Police have already questioned Deep in police custody for 14 days and has been in custody for nearly 70 days." You must be aware that the Metropolitan Magistrate had adjourned the hearing on Sidhu's bail plea till Saturday and asked Delhi Police to file a reply on his bail plea. Sidhu is represented by lawyers Abhishek Gupta and Jasdeep Singh Dhillon in the same court. Some protesters are alleged to have removed the Indian tricolor at the Red Fort and hoisted religious flags during a rally taken out by farmers on January 26.
In the same case, Punjabi artist Deep Sidhu has been accused of inciting the crowd that day. In this case, the court had recently granted bail to Deep Sidhu on the basis of two bailees with bonds of 30,000 rupees each. The court had laid down certain conditions while granting bail to Deep Sidhu in the same mob-fuelling case. Under which he has to submit his passport to the Investigative Officer.
