This cricketer was born on August 7, 1992, in Agra. Deepak's father name is Lokendra Singh Chahar, a retired air force officer, who lives in Ganganagar, Rajasthan. The biggest hand behind Deepak Chahar's success is that of his father Lokendra Chahar, who left the army job for his son. Because of the job, Deepak's attention was being diverted again and again, while the father wanted him to be a good cricketer. In October 2006, Lokendra resigned from his job to ensure that his son had no problem with the practice. Deepak is originally a resident of Suratgarh. Being interested in cricket, he used to visit the cricket academy at Hanumangarh, 50 km away, every day. He learned cricket tricks from Navendu Tyagi.

Hyderabad had scored only 21 runs in the match. It was only after this match that 18-year-old Deepak caught everyone's attention. Deepak had pushed Hyderabad to the backfoot in 7.3 overs by giving up just 10 runs in his spell. Hyderabad's entire team was reduced to just 15.3 overs as the team was in the process of playing IPL since 2011. He was in the Rajasthan Royals team from 2011 to 2015. Two years after which Dhoni's team was associated with Rising Pune Supergiants. After which Deepak was bought by Chennai in January 2018 for Lakhs.
