Bollywood's famous actress Deepika Padukone has recently resigned from the chairperson of the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI). Deepika herself has reported through social media that she is resigning from the post. Fans are very surprised by this decision by Deepika. Deepika wrote on her Instagram story, 'Being on the board of MAMI and serving as chairperson has been a good experience. As an artist, Mumbai brought cinema and talent together to my second house'.

The same Deepika further said that due to the rest of her projects, she is not able to take time for this. Deepika wrote, 'I have a lot of work right now due to which I am not able to pay attention to MAMI'. On Thursday, a portal named 'www.deepikapadukone.com' has been launched. Deepika Padukone's portal will also have her upcoming projects, social work, and other facilities.

Please tell me that Deepika is going to appear in 83 soon. In this film, she is seen sharing the curtain for the first time after her marriage with husband Ranveer Singh. 83 will be based on the life of former cricketer Kapil Dev. In this movie, Deepika will be seen in the role of Kapil Dev's wife and Kapil Dev will become Ranveer Singh. Additionally, Deepika will be seen in 'The Intern' alongside Amitabh Bachchan. In this movie, Deepika was signed with the late actor Rishi Kapoor, but after her death, Amitabh Bachchan will play her character now.
