Chhapaak is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal and also features actor Vikrant Massey in a key role. Chappak is directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Leena Yadav in collaboration with Fox Star Studios. The movie which will hit the screens in January 2020 will also mark Deepika's debut as a producer.
