The 2017 year has been begun with Deepika Padukone's Hollywood debut with the movie xXx: Return of Xander Cage opposite to Vin Diesel. The movie has been directed by D.J. Caruso. The third season of the movie also features Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Samuel L. Jackson, Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa in crucial roles.
According to Pinkvilla, Deepika will be playing the lead Serena Unger. She will be having some major action sequences in the movie. Talks of xXx 4 quickly rose after xXx 3 released and D.J. was asked if Deepika would star in the sequel as well.
On his twitter handle, Caruso tweeted, "Oh yes. Yes, meetings next week. Honing in on the story and start dates,"
On Wednesday, D.J. took to Twitter to share some details on how xXx 4 should end. He also said that there will be a Bollywood twist to the movie with Deepika in it. D.J. in his tweet wrote, "I want to end XxX4 with and Bollywood dance song. Led of course by @deepikapadukone. Lungi Dance?? Something new?"
There are speculations that the movie will also feature the famous song 'Lungi Dance' of Deepika Padukone movie in which he has been starred opposite to Shah Rukh Khan.
