New Delhi: Air quality level (AQI) is very poor in many areas of Delhi. The increasing cases of corona infection and the air becoming increasingly poisonous with pollution particles have raised the concern of the people of Delhi. Poison is constantly being dissolved in the air due to increasing pollution levels in Delhi. Due to pollution, a mist has started covering the sky in the morning and evening.

Visibility in Delhi-NCR has also reduced considerably due to the mist in the sky. Air quality (AQI) is poor in many areas while air level has been recorded in very poor category in some areas. More than 400 air quality indexes (AQI) have been recorded in some areas of Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad which is considered as 'serious' category. The level of pollution in Faridabad in Haryana adjoining Delhi has reached the critical category.

Faridabad's AQI remains above 400. According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, the Air Quality Index (AQI) level was recorded at Anand Vihar in Delhi on Friday morning at 442, 407 at RK Puram, 421 at Dwarka and 430 at Bawana. Amid growing pollution, the firecrackers have been banned in Delhi till November 30 for the festive season, especially on the occasion of Diwali.
