Actually, a young man met Sumit Goyal, son of Ramnivas Goyal. He said that his ticket has been cut in the upcoming assembly elections. If you want a ticket, give two and a half crores. On not giving it, he also threatened to tarnish his father's image. Meanwhile, Sumit informed the police. The police reached the spot and arrested the accused.

After getting information from sources, Ramnivas Goyal has a camp office in Vivek Vihar B-Block. On Wednesday, his son Sumit was present in the office. Arrived at his office around 12:30 pm. Where he told Sumit that he is associated with Aam Aadmi Party. In the coming assembly elections, his father's ticket has been cut from AAP. He has recognition from the top people in his party. He will get tickets from Gandhi Nagar assembly constituency. In return, he demanded Rs 2.5 crore. He asked to give 50 lakh rupees in advance. When Sumit refused, the accused threatened to tarnish the image in the society. Sumit immediately caught the young man and informed the police. He was later handed over to the police.

The accused has studied mechanical engineering: According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, during interrogation it is found that the accused has studied mechanical engineer. In the greed to earn money soon, he reached the camp office of Ramnivas Goyal at Vivek Vihar. At the same time, it has been learned that during preliminary investigation it was found that the accused is not associated with any party. He completed his engineering studies some time ago. The matter is currently under investigation.
