Woman misbehaves with defense worker for not wearing mask, case registered

New Delhi: A woman defense worker on covid duty in the national capital Delhi found it costly to stop a woman coming from Scooty from cutting challans for not wearing a mask. When the defense worker stopped the woman, he called one of his knowledgeable women to the spot, after which the accused woman severely thrashed the woman worker who was on duty. The video has also been recorded. Police have registered a case against the woman in this regard.

The incident took place around 6:15 pm on Sunday in The West Vihar West area where civil defense personnel was on covid duty. Meanwhile, a woman on a scooty was also leaving, who was not wearing a mask. When a woman worker stopped her and asked her why she was not wearing a mask, she started arguing, at which the worker asked her to cut the challan, but the accused woman threatened to see everyone.

After some time the woman called one of her knowledgeable women there. The woman then thrashed the woman worker badly. He also hurled abuses. In the meantime, the rest of the employees tried to stop the woman, but she refused and continued to beat her. Civil Defence personnel later registered a case against the two women at Paschim Vihar West police station. A case has been registered against women under sections 186, 353, 323, 188, and 34 of the Epidemic Act and IPC.
