New Delhi: In view of the ever-increasing air pollution in the capital of Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has urged the people of Delhi not to burn firecrackers this year. CM Kejriwal while addressing the press conference said that this is the only effective solution to stop the increasing pollution from stubble in Delhi.

CM Kejriwal said that Pusa Institute of Delhi has made a solution, which is sprinkled on top of the stove and the starch melts and turns into compost. He hoped that the smoke of stubble is causing pollution in Delhi for the last time this year. CM Arvind Kejriwal, requesting people not to burn firecrackers on Diwali, said that if the people of Delhi continue to burn firecrackers, it may threaten the lives of them and their families.

CM Kejriwal said that last year, all the people of Delhi had celebrated Diwali in Connaught Place, this year also everyone will celebrate Diwali in the same way and will not burn firecrackers. Kejriwal said that the government has made special arrangements for the people of Delhi on the occasion of Diwali. He said that in the evening of Diwali, at 7.39 am I and the people of Delhi will do Lakshmi Pujan together, this Lakshmi Pujan will be telecast live on TV. He said that if the people of Delhi want, then they can worship Lakshmi from their home also through TV.
