New Delhi: A record 7178 corona cases reported in the country's capital on Friday. This is the first time that more than 7 thousand corona cases have been confirmed in Delhi in a single day. In Delhi, more than six and a half thousand people are getting corona infected everyday for the past three days.

Earlier on Wednesday, 6842 cases were reported. Let us tell you that 64 patients have also died due to infection in the national capital on Friday. Out of 58,860 samples tested in Delhi, 12.19 percent people were testes positive for corona. Experts have expressed concern over rising infection rates. However, the news of relief is that in the last one day 6121 patients have also been discharged from the hospital.

With the addition of 7178 new corona cases, the total number of infected patients in Delhi has increased to 4 lakh 23 thousand 831. Out of these 3 lakh 77 thousand 226 patients have been recovered, while 6833 people have lost their lives. Coronavirus infection rate has now increased to 8.49 percent in Delhi. According to the Health Department, there are 39 thousand 722 active patients in the capital, out of which 23 thousand 679 patients are receiving treatment in their homes, while 7528 patients are admitted in hospitals.
