New Delhi: The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested 2 people, including a hero posted in the Indian Army, in an espionage case. The arrested accused have been named Habibur Rahman and Paramjit, who is posted as Nayak in the army. According to Crime Branch Special CP Pravir Ranjan, the crime branch was working on a campaign. It was reported that some sensitive documents related to the army were being sent to our enemy country.

Pravir Ranjan said, "We had learned that a Nexus of spies was working, including a hero clerk posted in the Army. The crime branch first came to know about Habibur Rahman, a resident of Pokhran, after which police recovered a lot of secret documents from where he was linked to the army. Inquiries about the documents revealed that Habibur Rahman, a hero posted in the Army, Paramjit, who is currently posted as a clerk in the Army's Operational Unit in Agra, has provided it for money.

During interrogation, it was found that Paramjit had met Habibur Rahman when he was posted in Pokhran and Habibur Rahman had prepared it to provide important and confidential information related to the army in exchange for money. Special CP Pravir Ranjan said that Habibur Rahman used to give all the information received from Paramjit on WhatsApp to his ISI handler sitting in Pakistan. Instead, the money came into their accounts through hawala, so all the bank accounts of both of them have been seized.
