New Delhi: The national capital is showing a positive impact of lockdown. The spread of corona virus infection has decreased compared to earlier. There is no shortage of oxygen beds in hospitals. The Delhi government has even asked the Centre to give additional oxygen from the capital's quota to other states. But there is still a shortage of vaccine in Delhi. About 100 vaccination centres in Delhi have been closed after the vaccine reserves were exhausted.

This information was given by Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. He said, "The positivity rate in Delhi has come down to 14 per cent. New corona cases have come down to 10,400. Beds in hospitals have also been evacuated due to reduced cases. Earlier we needed 700 metric tonnes of oxygen every day, but now the oxygen requirement in Delhi is only 582 metric tonnes."

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal today tweeted that fighting and competing with each other in the states, international markets for corona vaccine "tarnishes" India's image. He said in the backdrop of shortage of vaccine supplements in Delhi and many other states, the Centre should procure vaccines from the states.
