New Delhi: Kejriwal government has made another announcement regarding the compensation to be given to the victims for the violence erupted in the areas of North East Delhi. Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has said that verification of the victims will be done to give compensation. For verification, 7 IAS officers will visit the areas of North East Delhi and meet with the people.
On what basis will the compensation be given to the victims of violence, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia also gave information in this regard. He has said that if someone's house is completely burnt during the violence, then he will be provided with five lakh rupees, out of which 4 lakh for the structure of the house and one lakh for the goods of the house. At the same time, this house is half burnt, then two and a half lakh rupees will be given. Out of this, two lakh rupees will be for the structure of the house and fifty thousand rupees for the purchase of materials.
Manish Sisodia has said that in the violence that broke out in North East Delhi, schools were also damaged. Therefore schools will also be compensated. Manish Sisodia said that in schools where more than 1,000 children study, Rs 10 lakh will be given as compensation. At the same time, in schools where less than 1,000 children study, Rs 5 lakh will be given to them in compensation. Along with this, he also told that compensation will be given on the basis of police FIR if there is robbery in commercial property and house.
