New Delhi: The Kejriwal government of Delhi told the Supreme court that no concrete steps have been taken by the Haryana government to address concerns in the matter of increasing ammonia levels due to the flow of untreated polluting material into the Yamuna. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government filed a rejoinder affidavit in the Supreme Court on the response of the Khattar government of Haryana and its irrigation and water resources department.
Chief Justice S.A. On March 26, the Bobde-led bench had directed the Haryana government and others to maintain a status quo on the Yamuna river water supply to Delhi. In this way, the court made it clear that there should be no shortage of water supply to the capital. The AAP government, which moved the Supreme court in January this year, has requested the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) to direct Haryana to stop the flow of untreated polluting material and water in the Yamuna and face a water crisis. There should be a sufficient water supply to Delhi.
Delhi Jal Board Chief Engineer M.K. In the Rejoinder affidavit filed through Hans, the entire reply of Haryana and its related department is said to have been made in a dilemma.
