New Delhi: To tackle pollution in the country's capital Delhi, the Arvind Kejriwal government of the state has taken a big decision on Friday. The Delhi government has launched the Electric Vehicle Policy. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal himself has given information about this. Describing the new policy as progressive, CM Kejriwal claimed that it will reduce pollution, increase employment and register five lakh vehicles in 5 years.

CM Kejriwal said that it is expected that the economy of Delhi will improve further. CM Arvind Kejriwal said in a press conference that 'We have released the notification of electric vehicle policy today. Through this policy, our aim is to boost Delhi's economy, increase employment and reduce the pollution level of the country's capital. CM Kejriwal said that, 'This electric vehicle policy is the most progressive policy in the country.'

CM Kejriwal has expressed the hope that 5 lakh new trains will be registered in 5 years. He said, 'We hope to register 5 lakh new electric vehicles in the next 5 years. An 'EV cell' will be created to implement the electric vehicle policy.
