New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has refused permission to conduct Chhath Puja programs at the Ghats in the national capital in view of Corona. The High Court states that the petitioner is unaware of the circumstances of COVID-19 in Delhi. The High Court said that to celebrate the festival of any religion, you have to be alive first.

Amidst the growing cases of COVID-19 in Delhi, politics regarding Chhath has intensified. If the BJP has sought answers from the Kejriwal government, then the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) says that there is a crisis due to the gathering of public places. The government has refused this by citing the crowd about Chhath in public places. The Delhi government has directed not to perform Chhath Puja celebrations in any public place, but committees organizing Chhath Puja have opposed this order of Delhi Government.

The opposition BJP has opposed this decision of the Kejriwal government. Now the High Court has also refused permission. Former Delhi BJP president and MP Manoj Tiwari said, "Kamal's unfortunate CM is Arvind Kejriwal. By following the social rules of Corona, you will not let Chhath do the false drama of asking people from the Guidelines Center. So tell which guidelines were allowed to serve these 24 hours alcohol", said CM. In the same capital, there is a steady increase in corona cases.
