According to the information of the media report, 'Delhi High Court has stayed the release of the film without giving credit to lawyer Aparna Bhatt, who has fought the legal battle of Laxmi Agarwal. This ban will be applicable from January 15 in multiplex and from January 17 on other live streaming platforms. Earlier, the Delhi High Court had given a decision to give credit to advocate Aparna Bhat to the filmmakers of 'Chhapaak'.

According to reports, the Delhi High Court during a hearing on a petition by Fox Star Studios questioned the filmmakers as to why Laxmi Aggarwal's lawyer was not given credit in the film? Judge Pratibha M Singh had reserved the order on the petition and said that the court will give its verdict on Saturday morning. By the way, Deepika Padukone's film 'Chhapaak' is in discussion from the beginning.
