New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has slammed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government over the non-availability of anti-viral drag Remdesivir. The drug is being used to treat corona infected people with normal or critical condition. Currently, its supply is very low and the demand is manifold. Meanwhile, the High Court also conducted a class of Kejriwal government to produce wrong data.
In fact, the Delhi government claimed that it had been given only 2,500 vials of the Remdesivir drug, while in reality it was given 52,000 vials. The Delhi High Court said hoarding of oxygen cylinders and medicines creates an atmosphere of artificial non-availability of these items, while in reality they are available. The high court warned that people should not get involved in such acts. The Delhi High Court on Tuesday had also asked the Kejriwal government to give data on the RT-PCR tests conducted in the state.
Since the number of RT-PCR tests in Delhi is declining and many private labs have been refused the test, the High Court has also asked Arvind Kejriwal's government. The court also discussed the shortage of oxygen in Delhi and said that not a day did the right amount of oxygen reach Delhi. The court cited the long distance as the reason. He told the Central government that the central government should look into the problems being faced by the logistics. He also asked the Delhi government to consider the use of DTC buses to carry the bodies.
