New Delhi: Taking a big decision, the Kejriwal government of Delhi has greatly reduced the cost of corona test. Now you will have to spend very little on getting corona test done in Delhi. Will RT-PCR whether antigen, all types of tests will now be done at a lower price than before. The necessary guidelines regarding this have also been given to the labs and hospitals.

It has been told that now Rs 500 will have to be paid for RT-PCR test in Delhi, which till now had to be paid Rs 800. Similarly, for rapid antigen test, now only Rs 300 will have to be paid. On the other hand, if you want to get yourself checked at home, then that too will now be possible for only Rs 700. Earlier it used to cost 1200 rupees. In such a situation, the cost of each test has been drastically cut. The government has directed all the labs and private hospitals to display the new rates within 24 hours. Arvind Kejriwal has also tweeted about this decision from his official Twitter handle.

Kejriwal has said that now in the Corona era, this decision will help the general public a lot. By the way, on the one hand, this decision is believed to be a relief, on the other hand, the politics on Corona itself has also intensified. On Wednesday, the uproar intensified again when Lieutenant Governor (LG) Anil Baijal held a meeting with the officers in Corona. As soon as LG tweeted about that meeting, there was a sharp reaction from CM Kejriwal. He directly accused LG of insulting democracy. Kejriwal said that when an elected government is sitting in Delhi, how can a meeting be called without any government minister from his (LG's) side. While no response has been seen from the LG office on this.
