The accident took place at Shibganj in Chapnawabganj district of Bangladesh. A man's wedding party was going on on boats floating in the river here. Hundreds of people had come to the party. But in the meantime, the weather gets worse and it starts raining. People leave the boat and start heading towards the river bank to avoid rain and take shelter. In the meantime, they fall prey to natural calamities. In fact, dozens of people are affected by lightning in the middle of the rain. In a few seconds, 17 people die tragically. Not only that but many people have also been badly injured after being burnt by lightning. Within seconds, the sky disaster destroyed everything.

The groom was also injured in the same accident. A city government official said that some people had left the boat and come to the shore to escape the rain in the river when the power fell. The bride was not at the wedding party when the accident took place. An official told the news agency that 17 persons have died when lightning struck Chapanawganj several times within seconds. It may be recalled that hundreds of people died in Bangladesh every year due to lightning. This year, the severe monsoon storm has again hit.
